Direct from our sister company Ippolito's, Samuels offers a full line of prepared foods with no preservatives , additives, and as homemade as it gets. Aunt Connie's Famous. In the mid 80's Sam was working at his family's seafood retail location and decided that prepared foods was the way of the future. Loving the cooking of his aunt, Sam thought what better then homestyle food for sale. Starting with "Calamari con pomodoro" and others Aunt Connie made the masses come in. Ippolito's started more prepared food then fresh, everyone wanted her Clams Casino, jumbo lump crabcakes, fresh cole slaw, and so much more.

Our first born...

When Sam first opened he wanted to separate some of his products from the other companies he competed against. Lauren Bay was created as an all natural product line mainly associated with our squid products. All of Lauren Bay's squid is domestic product from Rhode Island and is "dry-pack", which means no chemical additives are used.

Sushi with Samuels....

About seven years ago Samuels started carrying small quantities of sushi products, now we have over 200 items from sushi grade fish (albacore to waluu) to dry goods, vegetables, accesories, and also #1 grade frozen products. The leader of this pack is our unagi. Available in 8, 9, 10 oz portions, Unagi by Samuels is a premium product at a competitive price.
